Even though the air fares are down at present, the people flying out of Delhi and Mumbai still cannot enjoy it, as they would be paying an additional charge for the airport development project in these two metropolitan cities. The development project in Delhi is facing a shortfall of about Rs. 2, 000 crore in their Rs. 9, 000 crore project. Due to this, the domestic passengers may be forced to pay an additional charge of Rs. 200 and the international passengers will have to pay Rs. 1, 000 as airport development fee in Delhi. The situation is same when it comes to Mumbai too. So, people flying out of Mumbai and Delhi must better be ready to pay the additional price.
